What Is Haunted House FearFest?
Haunted House FearFest is more than a festival — it’s a living horror multiverse.
Originally launched as a festival, Haunted House FearFest was acquired by Renee Huff in 2022 and reimagined into a year-round, cross-media horror multiverse designed like a haunted house: room by room, season by season. Today, it showcases independent horror films, video games, TikTok horror shorts, and original art from creators around the world — all living inside a shared creative ecosystem.
Under Renee’s ownership and creative direction, FearFest has evolved beyond a single event into a modular storytelling platform and incubator for horror IP. The House is built to support bold voices, strange visions, and experimental formats — without forcing creators into one medium or path. Stories are encouraged to expand, mutate, and move between rooms.
The Haunted House Structure
Haunted House FearFest unfolds across three core seasonal tentpoles:
🧊 Frozen Wing (Winter)
A curated winter exhibition featuring atmospheric, experimental, and slow-burn horror across film, games, shorts, and art. Open from January through early spring.
🔥 Heatwave (Summer)
A high-energy seasonal showcase spotlighting bold, unconventional, and genre-bending horror designed to keep the fear alive outside of October.
🕯️ October Festival
The flagship, month-long celebration every October — featuring official selections, premieres, community events, live and virtual programming, and awards across film, games, and digital horror.
New rooms open throughout the year, allowing the multiverse to grow organically.
