Renee is the Owner and Executive Director of Haunted House FearFest Film & Video Game Festival. Her love for horror films started at a young age while watching the Wes Craven horror film, “The People Under the Stairs.”

Huff is a Seasoned Media Entertainment Executive who has worked at Simon & Schuster and top media companies, such as HBO, Viacom, MGM and PEOPLE magazine. She is also the Host of The Looks Creepy Cool Podcast and is the Founder of Looks Creepy Cool Studios, LLC.

VIDEO GAME JUDGE

Rafi is a game designer and developer specializing in the creation of worlds. Using both traditional and experimental controllers and mechanics, Rafi creates experiences inspired by both art and life. As a designer that’s proficient in programming, 2D/3D art and animation, with a background in cinematography, special effects and music, he has a deep understanding of technical limitations and roles that all team members play within the development cycle.

Rafi is a Dominican-American New York City native with design sense, a passion for games, and in the pursuit of knowledge. He strives to create aesthetically beautiful experiences with an emphasis on fun.

FILMMAKER, FESTIVAL JUDGE

Jungyoon Kim is a creative producer with a wide-ranging background that spans multiple continents including China, Germany, Taiwan, South Korea, and the U.S.

His storytelling abilities have earned him widespread acclaim, with his films being featured and honored at renowned events such as the Berlin International Film Festival, Tribeca Film Festival, Busan International Film Festival, and others.

Recognized as a rising star in the industry, he has been honored with prestigious fellowships such as the Marcie Bloom Fellowship, Hollywood Foreign Press Fellowship, along with the distinguished Richard Brick Award for Special Distinction in Line Producing.

He’s currently at Blumhouse, turning nightmares into box office screams.

FESTIVAL JUDGE

Louise Mason is an artist with special skills in Photography and Costume/ Wardrobe assistance. She has worked in film and television as well as at New York Fashion Week, many different parades and on-stage theater productions.

Her favorite video game is Grand Theft Auto and she is familiar with and enjoys various object oriented programming languages used to make video games and apps like Java, Ruby and Python.

Her favorite horror films are A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors, The Ghoulies II, and Bride of Chucky because of their whacky surrealist cinematography and rocking soundtracks!

FESTIVAL MANAGER

A creative writer, Tanee's interest in film stemmed from a class trip to Sony Museum where she fell in awe with the process it takes to create a show or film.

Since then she has had the opportunity to work on production sets as well as festivals such as New York Film Festival and Bushwick Film Festival.

With writing being her number one hobbie (baking and painting come second and third), she hopes to one day have her script play on the screen or a novel on the shelves at Barnes & Noble.

A few of her favorite horror films are A Nightmare on Elm Street, Let the Right One In, The Babadook, and Ginger Snaps.

Brett Petersel is the Horror Editor at Letterboxd and co-host of the Double Threat Podcast. His work has been both featured and recognized by a number of publications, including the Huffington Post, Nylon's Men's Magazine, CNN, Samsung, and Forbes.

Mia is a student and film geek. She has experience producing, filming, writing, and acting in drama productions and short film projects.

She enjoys all forms of artistic expression, and is working towards publishing her journalistic, analytical, and creative writing.

Among her favorite horror films are House, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and The Thing.

Alexa Mountzouros is venturing into the film festival scene, bringing with her a fresh enthusiasm for film nurtured during her time at Syracuse University. It was there, amidst the collaborative spirit of student short film projects, both those of her peers and her creations, that Alexa's love for cinema truly blossomed.

While her affinity for film has deep roots, her fascination with the horror genre is a more recent development, sparked in a Cinema Studies course at Syracuse. The thrilling narratives of Jordan Peele's "Us" and Wes Craven's "Scream" captivated her, instantly drawing her into the depths of horror (despite her tendency to be easily spooked).

Her current favorite horror films are Us, Scream, A Quiet Place, Carrie, and It Follows. Her favorite horror games are FAITH: The Unholy Trinity, Phasmophobia, Fears to Fathom, and The Joy of Creation.
